Set sail for the 2021 Raingutter Regatta!

What: Raingutter Regatta

When: Saturday, November 13th. Please see the racing schedule below for your rank's race time!

Where: Lakeway City Park - Upper Pavilion, 502 Hurst Creek Rd., Lakeway, TX 78734

Attire: Class A Uniform

Get ready for a great day of racing. Racing will start at 2:00 PM sharp. Please pay attention to racel times below after each Den - you must arrive early or you will risk missing your race. If you do not have a boat kit, please contact your Den Leader ASAP!

Regatta Racing Schedule

Racing will start at 2:00 PM sharp and will be done by Den level, starting with the Lions and ending with Arrow of Light. Please pay attention to race times below and arrive early:

Lions race at 2:00pm
Tigers race at 2:30pm
Siblings race at 2:45pm
Wolfs race at 3:00pm
Bears race at 3:30pm
Webelos race at 4:00pm
AoL race at 4:30pm
Finals race at 5:00pm

Rules

Only boats distributed by the Pack are eligible (no boats from Michaels, etc.).
Only parts from the kits distributed by the Pack are eligible. Do not attach keels, outriggers, or anything not in the kit. Do not alter parts in kit to create any extra parts.
The mast must be used. You are not allowed to clip or fasten the sail directly to the boat. You may glue the sail to the mast (where the mast passes through the sail) and also where the sail meets the deck of the boat.
Only straws distributed by the Pack can be used to move the boat.
The boat can only advance by blowing through the straw and the boat cannot be touched except by a race official.

COVID Precautions

This event will take place outdoors and follow the same protocols as the Lake Travis ISD.
If you are experiencing any symptoms of illness or COVID or if you have had contact with an individual who has recently tested positive for COVID, please remain home and do not attend this event.
