Raingutter Regatta 2023

Saturday, October 28th – Rain Gutter Regatta @ Lakeway City Park:

If you haven't grabbed your boat kit yet, please you can grab it from Josh’s front porch starting Monday (email lakewayscouts442@gmail.com for address). 

BUILD YOUR BOAT: 

If you need help building a boat, there are several videos and websites to give you some advice (very thorough video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=MbmpxmYDJNA). Feel free to reach out to your Cubmaster or your Den leader if you need some help.

We understand there are sports events and Halloween parties - if you can't make your 'den' time, we have added an extra session for mixed group make-ups. Hopefully, you will be able to join us for this exciting event!

RAINGUTTER REGATTA SCHEDULE 

Please arrive at least ten (10) minutes prior to race start time for check-in & pictures.

- Lions: 10:00am

• - Tigers: 10:30pm
• - Wolves: 11:00pm
• - Bears: 11:30pm
• - Webelos I: 12:00pm
• - AOL: 12:30pmSiblings/Make-up Heats: 1:00pm
• - Finals Race: 1:30 – If you win your heat, you make it to the Finals!!

Scouts will compete by den in the designated heat times below. We race double elimination so that each Scout will get at least two races. Please try your best to make it your den’s assigned time. If you cannot make it due to another conflict, let us know, and we can add them to the “Make-Up" heat. If you win your heat, then you move on to the finals race held at the end! If your Scout has a sibling who would like to build a boat, we have a special heat for the siblings too.
