When: Friday, January 21 (Weigh In) & Saturday, January 22 (Race Day) - Schedule Below

Attire: Friday: Class B Uniform

This year is sure to be an exciting race on a brand new aluminum track! Special thanks to all who participated in our fundraiser as you made this purchase possible!

 

Rules: Please make sure to read through the rules & regulations one more time prior to weigh-in to make sure you're qualified to race. All cars must pass inspection and be checked-in and impounded on Friday night in order to race on Saturday. No late entries will be accepted. If you have NOT received a car and would still like to race, please let your Den leader know ASAP!

Friday 1/21/22 Weigh In (Class B Uniforms):

Weigh-in will take place between 6:30pm-8:30pm - please sign-up to secure your weigh-in timing.

Pinewood Derby Race - @ Lakeway Church Fellowship Hall

You are welcome to come early and/or stay to watch all the races OR just arrive in time for your race. We will have drinks and popcorn for the scouts after their race. 

 

For those who have family and friends who'd like to watch the races virtually, we will be streaming it Live in our private Facebook Group - be sure to make the request to join in the days prior to the race. 

Approximate Race Times:

Lions @ 2:00pm

Tigers @ 2:30pm

Siblings @ 2:45pm

Wolves @ 3:00pm

Bears @ 3:30pm

Webelos I @ 4:00pm

Webelos II / AOL @ 4:30pm

Finals Race @ 5:00pm

Racing will start at 2:00 PM sharp. Please pay attention to racel times  - you must arrive early or you will risk missing your race.

COVID Precautions

• This event will follow the same protocols as the Lake Travis ISD. 

• If you are experiencing any symptoms of illness or COVID or if you have had contact with an individual who has recently tested positive for COVID, please remain home and do not attend this event.
